Williston, VT – Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel donated over 300 pounds of pet food and toys to the Humane Society of Chittenden County on Wednesday morning. This donation was made possible on behalf of Lenny’s generous customers. Monetary contributions were made through a cleaver coin-drop game and one lucky customer even won a Lenny’s Body Wrap! These donations translated into 240-pounds of cat litter, 26-pounds of cat food, 40-pounds of dog food, 126 cat toys, and 8 dog Kongs.

Barre, VT – Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel presented the Vermont Foodbank with an $807 donation on behalf of its staff and customers. The donation was part of an in-store promotion called “Dimes for No Bags.” Each time a customer didn’t take a plastic shopping bag, Lenny’s deposited a dime into a collection jar. Customers also added their own spare change and cash. The result was a $807 donation to the Vermont Foodbank, which translates to nearly 5,000 meals to Vermonters in need of food assistance.

BARRE, VT – In an effort to aid Vermonters affected by the flooding that devastated many communities in our state, local retailer Lenny’s Shoe and Apparel has partnered with RSVP and the Central VT Long Term Recovery Committee to offer vouchers for the purchase of shoes and boots to those most affected by this unfortunate disaster.

BARRE, VT – Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel, Darn Tough Vermont and Smartwool teamed up to donate 800 pairs of socks and $2,900 to representatives from local homeless and temporary shelters. The donations are the result of a joint effort between the three businesses to help provide warm, Merino wool socks and much-needed support to Vermont’s homeless population in preparation for the state’s colder months.
